Questions buyers ask us

Isn't the dashboard range estimate enough?
No — the displayed range is an estimate influenced by recent driving, temperature and software, and it can drift meaningfully from real usable capacity. We read the battery management system directly and compare the result against other vehicles of the same model, age and mileage.
What exactly is "State of Health"?
State of Health (SoH) is the battery's current usable capacity as a percentage of its original capacity. A 5-year-old EV at 90% SoH has lost about a tenth of its range since new. Most manufacturers warrant the pack to stay above 70% for 8 years — our certificate shows how much headroom your car has.
Do you buy or sell cars, or take commissions?
Never. We're an independent testing service — we don't trade vehicles, take referral fees from sellers, or broker deals. Our only customer is the person paying for the certificate.
I'm selling — is this worth it?
European auction data shows certified used EVs attract more bids and sell faster than uncertified ones. Attaching an independent certificate to your listing answers the first question every serious buyer asks — before they use it to negotiate you down.
How does the remote Tesla test work?
You grant temporary, read-only access through Tesla's official third-party authorisation — the same mechanism used by charging and insurance apps. We pull diagnostic data, and you can remove access the moment the report is delivered.
Is the certificate a warranty or guarantee?
No — it's a point-in-time independent diagnostic assessment, like a building inspection for a house. It tells you the battery's measured condition on the day of testing and how that compares with similar vehicles.
